Amerisave Mortgage Teams With Watchdog

Amerisave Mortgage Corp. has teamed up with University of
Pennsylvania Wharton School finance professor emeritus Jack Guttentag in an innovative marketing
agreement. The Atlanta-based online lender will provide Guttentag with information on its profit
margins, which then will be posted on the expert's watchdog site. Guttentag has
long accused many lenders of imposing exorbitant rates and fees, but prospective borrowers who come
to his site for information can be assured that they will not pay more than the advertised markup
when they obtain loans from Amerisave. Guttentag will be compensated for each customer who contacts
Amerisave through his Web site, but the exact amount has not yet been determined.
